Re: Kompany
I would make Rice captain after the coming season when he turns 21.
Presuming he is playing for us!

Re: Kompany
We already have a natural leader when Noble packs in.
Balbuena has what it takes in my opinion.

VIVA EL GENERAL.

Re: Kompany
Jesus Christ. Maybe we should dig up Georgie Best and sign him too.

Takashi Miike 2:04 Sun May 19
Re: Kompany
thoughts are he struggles to play many games surrounded by £50m players, it would be a bad signing

Re: Kompany
Was £7 million well spent when Mark Hughes signed him
A player pretty much respected by all fans regardless of team alliance
Good luck to him

Re: Kompany
I’m sure they wanted him to stay on
It’s a bit like when Iniesta left Barcelona and said that he NEVER wanted to feel like he might let the team down.
This was when he was easily capable of playing on

Class player & man is Kompany and they will definitely miss his influence

Re: Kompany
Plays on pain killers, and doesn’t train 2 days in a row....Belgium’s answer to Paul McGrath..and was only ever going to play for City in the Premier League.

Great player, good luck to him at Anderlecht

What a shame we can't sign him.

What's Richard Dunne up to?

Re: Kompany
Would you have left out Diop or Balbuena for him? NO WAY
However if they are thinking of ditching David SILVA I’d take him :-)

Has been a great character for them and absolutely the way to go out winning the league and scoring that goal.

Re: Kompany
Signed for Anderlecht.

Thank god. Great leader but noticeably slower this season. Son destroyed him in the CL.

Already announced as player manager at Anderlecht

Re: Kompany
Be surprised if he stays in England to be honest. What a servant and captain he’s been, proper premier league legend.

Re: Kompany
No doubt a very good player, but...

Injured quite often these days?
Will want very big wages?
Will hinder development of the two very good young centre backs we already have?

Not for a minute saying he isn’t good enough for us, but I honestly think our money would be better spent elsewhere.

Re: Kompany
Why not, we try to sign every other cunt way past their best.

Thank fuck we're that sort of club, it's served us so well.
